Social Casinos is an independent comparison site covering sweepstakes casinos and social casinos available to players in the United States. This page explains who puts the site together, how we research the platforms we list, why our rankings lean heavily on return to player and redemption terms, and where our money comes from.

Why we lead with RTP and redemption terms
Most sweepstakes casino lists rank on headline coin bundles. We think that's backwards. A 100 million Gold Coin welcome package tells you very little about what a session actually returns, because Gold Coins carry no prize value at all.
The two things that shape a player's real experience are the theoretical return to player on the games in the library, and the terms attached to converting Sweeps Coins into prizes. So those sit at the front of our assessment. We report published RTP ranges where a provider or operator discloses them, and we say so plainly when nobody publishes a figure — which is common. We never claim a site has the "highest RTP" or the "best odds." Those are unverifiable marketing lines, and slot outcomes are governed by chance regardless of the number on a paytable.
How the sweepstakes model works, in our words
This matters for understanding our ratings, so it's worth being explicit. Sweepstakes casinos are not real-money casinos and we don't describe them that way. They run a promotional sweepstakes model built on two separate virtual currencies:
